Corporate Actions
Corporate Actions covers SACCO-wide capital events that change holdings across many members at once: rights issues, bonus issues, buybacks and forfeitures. Each action is modelled as a controlled run that calculates entitlements or impacts per member before posting.
This section covers:
- Rights Issue — Rights Issue manages an offer of new shares to existing members in proportion to their current holdings, at a set ratio and subscr
- Bonus Issue — Bonus Issue capitalises reserves into new shares granted free to members in proportion to their holdings, with no cash subscriptio
- Buyback — Buyback records the SACCO repurchasing its own shares from members, defining the buyback price, eligible classes and volume, then
- Forfeiture — Forfeiture handles the cancellation of partly-paid or non-compliant shares where a member has failed to meet a call or breached a
