Asthma action plans
A plan records the patient’s personal-best PEF and the green / yellow / red zone thresholds (as a percentage of personal best), the controller and reliever medicines with doses, and the action to take in each zone. Emergency contact numbers for the clinic, doctor and ambulance are printed on the plan, which can be issued in the patient’s language. Plans move through Active → Superseded → Archived as they are revised.
