Interest Postings

Interest Postings lists the credit entries created when accrued savings interest is capitalised to member accounts. It provides a transparent record of how much interest was credited, to which accounts and on what date - essential for member queries and audit of interest expense.

Workflow

  1. Open Savings > Transactions > Interest Postings.
  2. Filter by posting date or product to find a run.
  3. Group by product to total interest credited per scheme.
  4. Drill into a line to trace it back to the interest schedule.
  5. Pivot the values for interest-expense reporting.
