Alerts

The work queue of alerts (mfi.aml.alert) raised by monitoring rules and screening, each flagging a member or transaction for review. Analysts triage every alert, document their findings and either close it or escalate it to an STR. The queue is the operational heart of ongoing transaction monitoring.

Workflow

  1. Open Alerts under Compliance.
  2. Sort by severity and age to triage the most urgent first.
  3. Open an alert to review the triggering rule and transactions.
  4. Record the investigation findings and disposition.
  5. Close benign alerts or escalate genuine ones to an STR.
