PAR Analysis

PAR Analysis measures Portfolio at Risk, the headline microfinance health metric, by aging the outstanding balance of loans with overdue instalments into 1-30, 31-60, 61-90 and 90+ day buckets. Pivot and graph views let managers track the PAR ratio trend and identify concentrations of risk by product, officer or branch.

PAR Analysis — live screen from the BridgeERP MFI Suite.

Workflow

  1. Open the analysis and group by PAR bucket to size each risk band.
  2. Pivot by officer, product or branch to locate risk concentrations.
  3. Compare the PAR ratio against internal and regulatory thresholds.
  4. Drill into a bucket to list the underlying delinquent loans.
  5. Export for the board and risk committee packs.
