Demand Letters

Demand Letters manages the formal written notices issued to delinquent borrowers (and guarantors) demanding payment, an essential step in collections escalation and any later legal recovery. Each letter records its template tier, issue date and delivery, building the documentary trail regulators and courts expect.

Workflow

  1. Select the overdue loan and the appropriate demand letter stage (first, second, final).
  2. Generate the letter from the template with the current arrears figures.
  3. Issue to the borrower and copy guarantors where applicable.
  4. Record the delivery method and date served.
  5. Escalate to Collection Actions or Legal Cases if unmet.
