Radiology & PACS
Imaging is integrated through the Laboratory & Radiology module for ordering plus a PACS / DICOM bridge for images.
Imaging studies
Each PACS study carries its DICOM Study Instance UID, modality (CR, CT, MR, US…) and description, and is tracked Ordered → Acquired → Reported → Finalized.
Modality worklist & integration
A modality worklist feeds order details to imaging devices; images live on the PACS while the order, report and billing live in the HMS. Radiology requests are placed alongside lab requests in Laboratory & Radiology.
