Collateral Types

Collateral Types is the lookup that classifies acceptable security - land, motor vehicle, equipment, savings, chattels - and may carry haircut or coverage parameters per type. It standardises how collateral is recorded and valued across loans.

  3. Set any haircut or coverage rule for the type if supported.
  4. Save and make it available for collateral records.
  5. Maintain the list as policy on acceptable security evolves.
