Groups

The register of solidarity groups (JLGs) whose members co-guarantee each other's loans. Each record holds the membership, office bearers, the centre it belongs to and its current cycle. This is where the social-collateral structure that replaces physical collateral is defined and maintained.

Workflow

  1. Open Groups under Operations.
  2. Create a group, name it and assign its centre.
  3. Add members and designate chairperson/treasurer roles.
  4. Set the group's current loan cycle.
  5. Activate the group so it can take group loans and hold meetings.
