Questions
How do I get into the demo?
Open the live demo and press Log in — the form is already filled in for you, no email address is asked for. The demo user holds the top role on every desk, so every menu is open.
Which markets are configured out of the box?
Seventy-one country packs ship with the free foundation, and they are uneven: each figure names the instrument it was read from and whether that reading is primary, secondary or unconfirmed, and some packs carry no rates yet. Treat the rest as a starting point for your own compliance review.
Does it write life business as well as general?
Term and group life sit on the same policy machinery, with the sum assured, the lives, beneficiaries and a member movement action instead of a Drivers tab. It is general-account life: unit-linked funds, bonus declarations and actuarial valuation are not modelled.
Does it post to the general ledger?
Yes. Written premium is a real ledger account, the unearned premium close posts its reserve movement, levies post their legs and claim payments post as ordinary journal entries.
Can the insurance roles be given to users without developer mode?
Yes. Each desk is a single dropdown on the standard user form — pick Underwriting Manager, Claims Assessor or Credit Controller and the rules come with it.
Will an upgrade overwrite the rates and ceilings we corrected?
No. The regulatory content ships so that a module upgrade leaves your corrections alone. The other side of that: a correction we publish later does not reach a database that already holds those records without a migration that names what it changes.
What languages does it ship in?
English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Arabic (right-to-left) and Swahili — the interface, the menus and the documents. 98% of this module's strings are translated in each.
