The premium arrives in instalments, and somebody has to chase them

Billing And Credit Control

A policy carries a billing schedule, the schedule carries its instalments, and each instalment has its due date, what was collected against it and its rung on the dunning ladder. Direct bill and agency bill are both handled — on agency bill the intermediary is invoiced for the net. Receivables age themselves, and cancellation for non-payment goes through the ordinary cancellation route.
