The student profile in depth

The student profile is a 360° view of a single learner. Every tab pulls live data from a different EduPrime app, so the registrar sees identity, money, academics, health and logistics in one place without leaving the record.

Open any student from the list to reach the profile. The header carries the photo, full name, admission number, current class/stream and status badge. Below it sit the tabs described here, in order.

Identity, contacts & guardians

The Identity tab holds names, gender, date of birth, nationality, religion (optional), preferred name and the boarding/day flag. The Contacts & Guardians tab lists every guardian linked to the student, marks the primary contact (who receives invoices and the parent-portal login) and the emergency contact. Sibling links appear here too.

Tip — The primary contact is the only guardian who receives fee statements by default. Confirm it is set before the first invoice run of the term.

Class history

The Class History tab is an immutable audit trail: every enrolment, promotion, repeat and transfer is logged with a date and the user who made the change. This is what you produce when a parent disputes which class their child was in two years ago.

These tabs are read-mostly windows into other apps. They appear only when the relevant app is installed:

The 360 in practice

Use the profile to answer a parent's question in one screen. A typical front-desk flow:

  1. Search the admission number, open the profile.
  2. Check Fees for the outstanding balance.
  3. Check Attendance and Grades for a quick academic read.
  4. Check Health for allergies before any trip or meal change.
  5. Check Transport/Boarding for logistics.
Important — If a live-data tab is empty, the cause is almost always that the source app is not installed, or the student was never linked there (e.g. no route assigned in Transport). An empty tab is not a data-loss event – check the source app first.
