Which AI answers: credits or your own account

BridgeERP AI uses the AI models of Google (Gemini) and OpenAI, and Anthropic (Claude) if you choose. By default it uses BridgeERP AI credits. You can also use an account of your own with these companies.

In which order

Free answers by Bria for easy questions (if Free answers first is on).
Your own account, when you switched one on: Google Gemini, ChatGPT or Claude.
BridgeERP AI credits (if BridgeERP AI Credits is on).
Basic mode when none of them can answer.

The Status line in Settings › BridgeERP AI says what is used, for example BridgeERP AI credits or Your own account (Google Gemini), then BridgeERP AI credits.

Which model for which task

Each task goes to the model that does it well for the lowest price:

Use your own account

Create an API key in your account with the AI company (Google AI Studio, the OpenAI platform or the Anthropic console) and add credit there. Use a paid plan.
Go to Settings › BridgeERP AI › Which AI answers and tick Use your own Google Gemini account, Use your own ChatGPT account or Use your own Claude account.
Paste the key in the field that appears, then click Save.
Click Test Connection: the message names the AI and the model that answered.

With several accounts, AI Provider sets which one answers first. Automatic (recommended) picks the best value for each task. Claude gives very good answers but costs several times more.

Your account, your bill. Requests that go to your own account are billed by the AI company and use no BridgeERP AI credits. When your account cannot answer (no credit, key refused), BridgeERP AI credits take over if they are on.
