Basic mode: working without AI
When no AI can answer, BridgeERP still answers. Basic mode uses what BridgeERP knows about your apps and your data, with no AI and no cost.
When it starts
Basic mode starts by itself when the AI credits are used up, the Monthly Budget or a Daily Limit per User is reached, or every provider is down. Answers given this way end with Basic mode. When the AI is back, everything works with AI again.
When the credits are used up, administrators also get a Buy AI credits button under the answer, and on a bill or expense that waits for the AI. Other users see "Ask your administrator to buy AI credits". See AI credits.
What the assistant still answers

What the apps still do

| Website | A page laid out from your brief; search titles, descriptions and keywords from the page. |
| Website chat | Answers from your public knowledge; otherwise the visitor is passed to a colleague. |
Writing free text in editors and AI Fields need the AI: they show a clear message and try again later.
Switch it off
Untick Basic Mode in Settings › BridgeERP AI to show a message instead when no AI can answer.
