School clinic – recording visits
The School Clinic app lets the nurse record every visit a student makes – symptoms, treatment, medication given and any onward referral – against that student's confidential health record.
Opening a visit
When a student arrives at the sick bay, the nurse creates a visit record. The student's standing health summary – allergies, chronic conditions and current medication – appears at the top of the form so the nurse sees the critical context before treating.
- Open
Clinic → Visitsand click New. - Select the Student. EduPrime loads their photo, class and health flags.
- Set the Visit time (defaults to now) and the Reason – illness, injury, routine medication, follow-up or screening.
- Record Presenting symptoms and any vital signs – temperature, pulse, the affected area.

Treatment & medication
In the Treatment section the nurse records what was done and what was given.
- Enter the Treatment provided – e.g. wound dressed, rested 30 minutes.
- Under Medication, add a line per drug: name, dose, route and time. EduPrime warns if the drug clashes with a recorded allergy.
- Set Outcome – returned to class, sent home, admitted to sick bay, or referred.
Referrals & handover
If the student needs outside care, raise a Referral from the visit. Choose the destination (clinic, hospital, dentist, optician), add notes for the receiving clinician, and EduPrime can notify the parent and the house parent or class teacher of the absence – without exposing the clinical detail to them.
