A remittance read from the carrier's own transactions
Commission Across The Group
Between two companies in one group, commission usually still moves by file: the carrier exports, the brokerage imports, and policy numbers are compared as text. Here the remittance is raised from the carrier's own transactions for a period, and every row carries the contract and the version it came from, so the brokerage's statement is matched on record identity and worked through the same exception queue as any other carrier statement. Commission owed by a carrier inside the group is flagged intra-group on the commission ledger, so a group report can leave it out instead of counting it twice.
Previewed before it is raised
Pick the period and the wizard reads the carrier's transactions, saying how many rows and how much commission it will raise before anything is written.
Matched on record identity
Six rows raised from the carrier's book, every one matched at tier 0 against what the brokerage expected, with a variance of zero.
