Every feature, at a glance

Everything in this list is in this app, or in the free foundation that installs with it.

  • Two companies, one group — A brokerage company and a carrier company, one record per pair.
  • Named both ways — The carrier as the brokerage knows it, and the brokerage as the carrier knows it.
  • Across the link — Contracts on the carrier, in the brokerage book, not yet in the book, and remittances.
  • One currency — A remittance is refused when the two companies keep their books in different currencies.

Book

  • Mirrored nightly — In-force contracts placed with the group carrier go into the brokerage book every night.
  • Or on a button — Place contracts in the book from the link whenever you need to.
  • Never twice — A contract that already has a placement is not placed again.
  • Own group or third party — Every placement says where it sits, decided from the carrier it names.

Commission

  • Expected from your agreement — Priced by the brokerage's own commission agreement, not the carrier's rate.
  • Intra-group flag — Commission owed inside the group is flagged on the ledger for group reports.

Remittance

  • From the carrier's transactions — No export and no import between the two companies.
  • Previewed first — Rows and commission are shown before the statement is written.
  • Missing contracts first — Optionally places contracts not yet in the book before raising it.

Rating

  • Quote the group carrier — Price a risk against the carrier's own products from inside the brokerage.
  • Inside the database — The carrier's rating service is called directly: no HTTP round trip, no secret on a wire.
  • Logged like any broker — Every call is attributed to a carrier-side key and logged as an API call.
  • Referrals kept — A product that must be priced by a person comes back referred, not failed.
  • The enquiry stays with the carrier — The submission and quote are created on the carrier's book; the brokerage book is untouched.
