Every feature, at a glance
Everything in this list is in this app, or in the free foundation that installs with it.
Pack
- Read from the instrument — Loi n°1/06 of 17 July 2020 and four ARCA instruments, article by article.
- Photographed originals — An ASSUR attestation and a COMESA Yellow Card from Bujumbura as evidence.
- Graded sources — Every figure carries its instrument and the confidence it was read at.
- Ships as a template — Nothing is active until the pack is applied to a company.
- Review date — A pack applied past its review date says the rates should be checked.
- Adopts what is there — Installed over a database that already held the Burundi pack, it keeps the same records.
Levies
- Frais de contrôle — 1.5% of the net premium, borne by the policyholder.
- Four contributions — 1% each: social protection, sector development, digitalisation and training.
- In force 1 December 2024 — Cited to article 6 of ARCA decision 540/93/021.
Bands
- Floor and ceiling — A minimum and a maximum for twenty-five classes: fifty bands.
- Refused in the agency — A commission agreement above its class ceiling is refused once the pack is applied.
Rules
- Premium rules recorded — Cash before cover, a sixty-day derogation limit, five days to remit, commission after premium.
Certificates
- ASSUR attestation — Pre-numbered controlled stock, a seven-digit serial, six months, overlay on the blank.
- COMESA Yellow Card — The regional card from the national bureau, bound beside the attestation.
- Twelve printed boxes — The ASSUR blank transcribed box by box, in millimetres.
- Refused until accepted — Unmeasured coordinates never print on a numbered blank until the company accepts them.
- Alignment test page — Printed on plain paper, so calibration consumes no stock.
- Measurements kept — Installed where a layout was already measured, the measurement is preserved.
