Roles and access

The desk is one dropdown on the standard user form under the Brokerage heading. The line it draws is the one every agency keeps: the people who answer a pay question are not the people who can change the pay.

Desk	Levels, lowest first	What changes between them
Producer Pay	Read Only › Payout Officer › Compensation Manager	Read Only answers servicing questions without touching a rate. The officer runs payouts, draws and chargebacks and sets no rates. The manager alone writes the plan, writes off a debt and reissues a statement already sent.
The Producer	Producer Pay: Own Statements	Their own compensation record, draws, chargebacks and issued statements — and nobody else's, enforced on the producer named on the record. A statement still being built stays invisible.

Rules the system enforces for every role

• A producer cannot open another producer's compensation, draws, chargebacks or statements.
• A producer cannot read their own statement until it is issued.
• No statement is released to a producer whose licence has lapsed.
• An issued statement's amounts, period, lines and opening balance cannot be edited — a correction is a new version.
