Are the levies charged as soon as it installs?

No. The pack installs as a template and every levy ships inactive. They are switched on when you apply the pack to your company, after you have checked them.

Does it connect to DMVIC?

No. A clerk obtains the number from the DMVIC portal and records it; with Insurance Certificates, the print is watermarked until the number is recorded.

Does it enforce cash-and-carry?

Not automatically. Section 156 is recorded as the client-money rule, but the switch that would withhold cover until premium is received is left off.

Where does each figure come from?

Every levy and ceiling names its instrument — the Act, the Insurance Regulations or the Stamp Duty Act — and whether it was read as a primary or a secondary source.

Do I need Insurance Management as well?

You need one of the insurance apps to use it: Insurance Management charges the levies on premium, and Insurance Agency Management holds commission to the ceilings.
