249 statutory levies, premium taxes and duties for 56 countries ship with the foundation, each with its rate, its base, who bears it, how often it is remitted and its legal reference. Each is graded: 76 were read in the instrument itself, 153 come from secondary sources and 20 are marked unconfirmed. They ship switched off, and applying your country's pack switches its own levies on. The engine charges a percentage or a fixed amount per policy or per certificate, on net premium, on premium plus the levies before it, on sum insured or on commission, with minimums, maximums and rounding. Commission rules work the same way: 171 statutory ceilings, floors and prohibitions for Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Indonesia, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and the United States, by class of business, policy year and type of intermediary.
